Our Photo Composition class will help any photographer develop new habits for how they create their imagery, with a focus on what to put in and what to keep out. Explore the artistic side of photography with a series of homework assignments and interactive discussion/critique of student work.
One night a week, four weeks in a row
Two and a half hours per night
Small class sizes (maximum 5 per session)
Learn how to use what you own today more effectively!
Well-equipped learning space
$179 (plus WA state tax)
Bring five images to the first class on a thumb drive or memory card.
Students should have a digital camera and reasonable knowledge of using it - this class is not a “buttons and how-to” course.
Expect weekly homework - I know that “life happens”, but figure you’ll need to spend 30-60 minutes sometime between classes.
New images are best
“Mining your collection” for images that suit the homework topic is OK.
Worst case, I’ll still ask you to bring some images of any topic, so that we can review your work weekly.
