Lighting 2

The perfect follow-up to Lighting 1, this class moves onto the concepts of off-camera lighting. Learn how to use an external flash or studio light positioned separate from the camera to improve your lighting.

• One night a week, four weeks in a row

• Two and a half hours per night

• Lighting 2 is a great way to learn how to add a few low-cost tools to your kit and enhance your images significantly!

• Small class sizes (limit 5)

• Well-equipped learning space and plenty of outdoor options

$219 (plus WA state tax)

 

  

• Students should have a digital camera, and preferably an external flash attachment (“speedlight”).

• Students should have completed Lighting 1 or have equivalent experience with lighting basics. Please contact the studio for guidance if unsure.

• For students with a speedlight, the instructor will make all reasonable efforts to provide each student with the use of a triggering tool for the duration of the class.

• For students without a speedlight, the instructor will make all reasonable efforts to provide each student with the use of a small portable studio light for the class duration.

• During class sessions, students will be photographing each other and/or the instructor; Hire Me Headshots will not be supplying a model for this class.

• Class cancellation policies:

  • no refunds/transfers/substitutions once class starts

  • transfer/substitution is possible at any point before the class starts

  • refunds are possible with at least three days’ notice before the class starts.
